Beavers, Cubs & Scouts
Beavers, Cubs & Scouts
The Squirrels Drey is the newest and youngest section of Scouting, allowing children aged between 4-5 to take their first steps into being part of Scouts.
1st Redbourn does not yet have a Squirrel Drey, but are keen to begin one should we find early years volunteers to have coordinate a fun programme. Please get in touch if you think this might be you!
The Beaver Colony is youngest section currently offered by 1st Redbourn Scouts. Beaver Scouts are young people aged between 6 and 8 years old.
1st Redbourn's Ver Beavers meet for an hour a week on Mondays at 6pm and the Priory Beavers meet on Thursdays at 6pm.
The Cub Pack is the second section at 1st Redbourn Scouts, following on from Beavers. Cub Scouts are young people aged between 8 and 10.5.
1st Redbourn's Ver Cubs meet on Tuesday at 6:30pm and Priory Cubs meet on Wednesday at 6pm. Sessions are 90 minutes a week.
Scouts are the third and oldest section at 1st Redbourn Scouts, following on from Cubs. Scouts are young people aged 10.5 to 14.
1st Redbourn's Priory Scouts meet on Thursday at 7:15pm and Ver Scouts meet on Mondays from 7:15pm.
After our Scouts turn 14, they can continue their Scouting journey at Explorers. Explorer Scouts are a go-getting group of young people aged 14 to 18.
1st Redbourn do not have their own Explorer Unit, but can help your young person find a local group in which to continue to grow.
