As well as running the weekly meetings for all our Young People, there's lots of work that goes on behind the scenes to keep 1st Redbourn moving. These roles are primarily undertaken by our Trustee board, another team of volunteers.
Together, Trustees make sure the charity is well managed, risks are assessed and mitigated, buildings and equipment are in good working order, and everyone follows legal requirements and Policy, Organisation and Rules (POR). Their support helps other volunteers run a fantastic programme that gives young people skills for life (and experiences they’ll remember forever). Our Trustee Board is currently made up of:
Secretary - Natalie Atkins
Group Lead Volunteer - Dave Mills
Quartermaster - Rodney Hansen
We also have sub-teams within the Group, who help fulfil a variety of roles to keep the Group and the Hut going!
Hut and Grounds Manager - Dave Burton
Fundraising Team - Martin Clark-Tunicliffe & James Surridge
DBS Administrator - Lilly Sieve
