Beavers

Who are Beavers, and what do we do?

Beavers are young people aged 6-8, who:

• Master new skills and try new things
• Have fun and go on adventures
• Make new friends
• Are curious about the world around them
• Help others and make a difference, on their own doorstep and beyond

Every week, they gather in groups called Beaver Colonies to hop, skip and jump their way through lots of different games and activities – achieving anything they set their minds to, and having lots of fun along the way.

When do 1st Redbourn Beavers run?

We run Beavers on two weeknights at 1st Redbourn:

Priory Beavers - Thursdays, 6pm-7pm

Ver Beavers - Mondays, 6pm-7pm

The Leader Team

All of 1st Redbourn is run by a large team of volunteers who plan and run our weekly meetings, as well as do all the behind the scenes work to keep the Group afloat. Priory and Ver Beavers are no exception!

Joining Beavers at 1st Redbourn

As much as we would like to take all children as soon as they are interested in joining a section, we only have a limited supply of leaders and have to set safe limits on the number attending meetings.
